Enterprise Assurance
Enterprise Assurance is focused on helping EERE meet its obligations to the Department's corporate systems and services, specifically Capital Assets and Health and Safety. The team provides liaisons to various offices throughout the Department, supporting the unimpeded exchange of information.
The Enterprise Assurance team:
- Coordinates annual evaluations of EERE research, development and deployment work performed at the national laboratories
- Facilitates Headquarters review of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory's (NREL) Ten Year Site Plan
- Monitors EERE facilities and infrastructure projects
- Organizes and coordinates Environment, Safety and Health (ESH) and Continuity of Operations Program (COOP) responsibilities for EERE Headquarters
- Provides policy, technical guidance, and information for EERE offices and federal employees regarding Safety and Health
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the annual submission of NREL's Ten-Year Site Plan to the Office of Engineering and Construction Management (OECM)
- Award Fee Lab Evaluations
- Capital Asset Project Performance Updates-Coordinate with OECM to provide Program input to the PARS II system for capital asset projects funded by EERE
Safety and Health
- Ensures the safety and health of all EERE personnel
- Serves and supports the Assistant Secretary for all safety responsibilities
- Supports EERE offices through safety and health actions to ensure mission success
