The 2008 Program Review Meeting is held, April 22-24, in Austin, Texas.

In April 2008, the DOE/EERE Solar Energy Technologies Program (SETP) holds its Annual Program Review Meeting to report on research and development (R&D) activities. The meeting is held in Austin, Texas, which is a Solar America City.

SETP managers and meeting participants discuss projects funded by DOE in Fiscal Year 2007 and related developments.

In addition, SETP program managers:

  • Discuss the SETP portfolio of R&D, technical evaluation, and market transformation activities.
  • Evaluate the technology roadmaps used to direct SETP activities during this period of rapid growth in the solar industry.
  • Provide a forum for program staff, national laboratory teams, and industry partners to exchange ideas that will improve SETP activities and will benefit the solar industry.
