The Solar Technical Assistance Team (STAT) 2012 webinar series targets state policymakers and staff. The webinars were organized by the DOE Solar Office, in coordination with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).

This overview of the STAT webinar series will give policymakers a sense of the benefits of having a thriving solar market within their jurisdictions (e.g., green jobs, air quality, and reduction in grid congestion). The discussion will include examples of jurisdictions that have used policy to leverage markets and an overview of prime locations for solar development.
