Join the U.S. Department of Energy SunShot Initiative, in coordination with the Solar Outreach Partnership, for the first webinar in the the Solar Action Webinar Series: Successes from the SunShot Rooftop Solar Challenge. The Innovation and Success in Organizing and Strategizing a Local Solar Effort webinar will showcase recent local, regional, and statewide efforts across the country. This effort aims to increase community education and raise awareness around opportunities for businesses and residents to go solar.

 

The discussion will include examples of solar programs managed at different levels of government and through a variety of approaches, including community recognition programs, "Solarize" bulk purchasing programs, and statewide public events that elevate awareness.
