Program Plans, Implementation, and Results
The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Vehicle Technologies Program (VTP) accelerates the deployment of advanced vehicle technologies and renewable fuels to strengthen the U.S. economy by creating jobs, while reducing petroleum consumption, air pollution, and greenhouse gas emissions. To accomplish these goals, VTP works with industry leaders, national laboratories, universities, and state and local governments in five strategic program areas.
