Transit Vehicle Special Projects

In addition to transit evaluation projects, the Advanced Vehicle Testing Activity (AVTA) studies the implementation of alternative fuel and advanced vehicle technologies in the transit industry. The following reports describe these studies:

AVTA also participates in the Hybrid Electric Bus Working Group and the American Public Transportation Association's Clean Propulsion and Support Technology Committee.
