U.S. Postal Service

United States Postal Service VehicleIn 1999, the U.S. Postal Service contracted with Ford Motor Company for the purchase of 500 electric carrier route vehicles (ECRVs). The ECRVs were phased into service at 202 Post Office locations - 200 in California and 2 on the East Coast - between February 2001 and October 2002.
