Europeans Consider Energy Use When Purchasing a Car
Seventy-five percent of Swedish respondents indicated that they do consider energy use when purchasing a new car, according to a 2002 survey of approximately 16,000 Europeans. The chart below shows the share of respondents answering "yes" when asked the question:
When you decide to buy a new one [car], please tell me whether you pay attention to the energy it uses or not.
