China Passenger Car Sales

In 2003, nearly 1.9 million new cars were sold in China. That was a 61% rise from 2002 sales. One-quarter of China's new car sales were for cars costing between $15,000 and $22,000. Models in this price range include the Volkswagen Golf, Hyundai Elantra, Kia Accent, and Toyota Corolla.
