Refueling Practices by Truck Size

According to the 2002 Vehicle Inventory and Use Survey, 90% of light trucks (class 1 and 2) typically refuel at public gas stations. About one-third of all heavy trucks (class 7 and 8), and one-quarter of medium trucks (class 3–6), typically refuel at their own facilities.
