Hybrid Vehicle Registrations, 2000–2004
New registrations for hybrid vehicles in 2004 grew 81% over the 2003 registrations. Hybrids on sale in 2004 included the Toyota Prius, Honda Insight, Honda Civic, Honda Accord, and Ford Escape. New hybrid models have been introduced in 2005, with even more expected in the near future.
