Fuel to Replace Gasoline and Diesel Fuel

Survey respondents were recently asked the open-ended question:

What fuel would you like to see replace gasoline and diesel fuel in the vehicles used in the U.S.?

More respondents said they would like biofuels to replace petroleum than any other fuel. Of those respondents planning to purchase a small car, 32% chose biofuels compared to 21% of respondents planning to purchase an SUV.
