U.S. Carbon Dioxide Emissions by Sector
Preliminary 2006 estimates of carbon dioxide emissions show a decline of 77 million metric tons from 2005 to 2006. The greatest decline (-3.7%) was in the residential sector, while the smallest decline (-0.1%) was in the transportation sector.
