Fact #442: November 6, 2006 Automotive Parts Trade between the U.S. and China
The number of automotive parts being imported into the U.S. from China has more than doubled since 2000; over five billion dollars worth of parts were imported in 2005. The U.S. exported just over half a billion dollars worth of automotive parts to China that same year.
