Fact #458: February 26, 2007 Gasoline Price Expectations
In September of 2005 when the average retail price of gasoline was $2.93/gallon, less than half of survey respondents expected the price of gasoline to go up in the next few months. However, in May 2006, with the price of gasoline at $2.99/gallon, 76% of respondents expected higher prices.
