Historical U.S. Hybrid Vehicle Sales

Hybrid vehicles have been sold in the U.S. since the Honda Insight went on the market in 1999. The Toyota Prius continues to be the best selling hybrid, but in 2007 there were thirteen other hybrid vehicles offered. Total hybrid sales were about 350,000 in 2007 which is an increase of about 40% over total 2006 sales.
