DOE Launches On-line Knowledge Center at the 2009 Washington Auto Show

DOE has partnered with Automotive X PRIZE (AXP) and Discovery Education to develop FuelOurFutureNow.com. Through this innovative website, we will bring these advanced vehicle technologies right into students' classrooms and homes. The knowledge center has resource areas targeted to students, teachers, and parents, which include carbon emissions calculators, games, and lesson plans.
The online knowledge center is one of three integrated components that will educate the general public and create a multi-tiered initiative to engage students and showcase the 21st century skills students will need to compete in our global economy: teamwork, creativity, strong literacy, math and science skills and innovative thinking.
