DEER08 Back By Popular Demand! - This August, the DEER Conference, which brings together professionals from the clean diesel community, moves to Dearborn – providing an opportunity to gain visibility for your organization's products and services and place you in front of the experts in the field of diesel engines.
Organized each year by the U.S. Department of Energy, the Conference showcases its cooperatively funded R&D with its partners, national laboratories, the nation's automotive transportation industry, universities and other national and international organizations.
This is the primary conference designed to facilitate the public exchange of state-of-the-art clean diesel research and development. Held at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn from August 4-7, 2008, the conference will provide multiple opportunities to:
- Communicate directly with industry colleagues
- Gain distinction and demonstrate your company's research accomplishments
- Learn about cutting edge R&D results
Due to a federal agency regulation, DEER08 is prohibited from charging a registration fee. As a result, we expect record breaking participation again this year. However, registration will be limited to 900 full-conference registrants and 50 one-day only registrants per day for a total of 1,000 attendees per day. Once these registration limits are reached, registration will be closed.
Through the years, DEER has grown from a small workshop of 50 to a 900+ industry leading conference, providing not only state-of-the-art technical programming, but multiple opportunities for networking with industry experts. Our corporate sponsors are an integral part of these valuable networking events.
DEER08 will provide unprecedented opportunities to position your company as a leader in the industry by sponsoring DEER08 networking events. Sponsorships will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

- Platinum Sponsor – $25,000 (limited to five)
As one of only five Platinum Sponsors, you will receive recognition for sponsoring a daily lunch, which includes a 20 minute speaking opportunity. This is the only sponsorship level with a speaking opportunity. You will also receive a one-bedroom suite upgrade at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn for your company representative. In addition, your organization's name and logo will be printed in the Conference program; you will receive 1 page narrative or boiler plate ad in the Conference program; the Conference website will include your organization's logo and a link to your website; you will receive four exhibit spaces at the Conference (a $10,000 value); and you will be guaranteed ten reserved Full Conference registrations.
- Gold Sponsor - $10,000
As a Gold Sponsor, you will receive recognition for sponsoring an evening reception in the Poster Session/Exhibit Hall. In addition, your organization will receive recognition throughout the Conference, with your name and logo printed in the Conference program. Your organization will receive ¼ page narrative or boiler plate in the Conference program; the Conference website will include your organization's logo and a link to your website; you will receive two exhibit spaces at the Conference (a $5,000 value); and you will be guaranteed five reserved Full Conference registrations.
- Silver Sponsor - $5,000
As a Silver Sponsor, you will receive recognition for sponsoring a breakfast or break upgrade. In addition, your organization will receive recognition throughout the Conference, with your name and logo printed in the Conference program. Your organization will receive ¼ page narrative or boiler plate in the Conference program; the Conference website will include your organization's logo and a link to your website; you will receive one exhibit space at the Conference (worth $2,500); and you will receive three reserved Full Conference registrations.
Your corporate sponsorship offsets conference costs and ensures the same high level of networking opportunities for which DEER is known.

Each sponsor is recognized during the sponsored event with a "thank you" sign or poster with the company logo that is displayed in a prominent location at the event. As an added thank you, sponsors will also receive an engraved plaque (style and type of plaque will vary depending on sponsorship level).
You will receive periodic emails to keep you up-to-date on the conference, media presence, and other important information. The emails will be sent more frequently as we approach the conference dates.
