Registration

Due to a Federal agency policy prohibiting the collection of conference registration fees, there will be no registration fees to attend the DEER 2009 Conference. You, however, have the option to select a registration type that incorporates a voluntary food and beverage charge. Please see below for details.

Registration Categories

FULL CONFERENCE WITH 2-NIGHT MINIMUM HOTEL STAY – Cost: $0.00
If you plan to stay at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn Hotel for two or more nights, you will be admitted to:

All program sessions
All networking functions
Exhibition Hall
Poster sessions
All food and beverage functions

Hotel arrangements at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn are required prior to registering under this category; you will be required to submit your hotel confirmation number at the time of registration. For additional hotel information, please see the DEER 2009 Hotel and Travel Information web page.

FULL CONFERENCE WITHOUT HOTEL STAY – Cost: $280
If you plan to attend the Conference and are not staying at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn Hotel for two or more nights, you may pay the voluntary food and beverage fee of $280 in order to be admitted to:

All program sessions
All networking functions
Exhibition Hall
Poster sessions
All food and beverage functions

FULL CONFERENCE WITHOUT HOTEL STAY AND WITHOUT FOOD AND BEVERAGE – Cost: $0.00
Limited to the first 50 registrants on a first-come, first-served basis. If you plan to attend the Conference, are not staying at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn Hotel for two or more nights, and do not wish to pay the voluntary food and beverage fee, you will be admitted to:

All program sessions

ONE-DAY CONFERENCE – Cost: $100.00
If you plan to attend the Conference for one-day only and are not staying at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn Hotel for two or more nights, you may pay the one-day voluntary food and beverage fee in order to be admitted to:

All program sessions
All networking functions
Exhibition Hall
Poster sessions
All food and beverage functions that day

NOTE: You must register for each day individually.

EXHIBITION HALL ONLY – Cost: $50.00
If you plan to visit only the Exhibit Hall and you are not staying at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn Hotel for two or more nights, you may pay the voluntary food and beverage fee in order to be admitted to:

All networking functions
Exhibition Hall
Poster sessions

Cancellations/Substitutions

Registration cancellations will be accepted until July 6, 2009. After this date, if you have registered in the category with the two-night minimum hotel stay, you will be charged the cost of a two-night stay at the hotel. Substitutions will be allowed.

You may substitute attendees at any time by sending written notice of the change to the DEER registration office.

Please note that if you cancel your hotel reservation for any reason, your "reserved" full Conference registration will also be cancelled. If you are making a substitution on your Conference registration, you must also make the change to your hotel reservation directly with the Hyatt.
