About the Marine and Hydrokinetic Technology Database
The Marine and Hydrokinetic Technology Database is a shared resource for the marine and hydrokinetic industry and its stakeholders. The database is a central repository of in-depth information and data on marine and hydrokinetic technologies, companies, and projects being developed in the United States and
abroad. The database includes information on the location, resource, capacity, stage and status of various companies’ technologies and projects.
Each technology or project description can include details on various aspects of that technology's or project’s capacity, development, and/or location.
You can filter
searchs to only include projects in a particular topic area by using the Advanced Search function. Once you have a list
of technologies, companies, or projects that meet your search criteria, simply click on a technology, company, or project to
go to an overview
screen that presents general information about your selection.
The companies included in this database were asked to provide information on their respective technologies and projects. The information was reviewed for consistency
and presentation; however, in most cases, the details have not been independently verified.
