Missouri Legislation Promotes Renewable Energy

Missouri Governor Matt Blunt signed legislation on June 25 to encourage the use of renewable energy. Among other things, the law sets renewable energy use targets for utilities. The utilities are not required to meet the targets but state regulators can determine if the utilities made an adequate effort to meet the goals.
