The focus of Technology Application is to expand the use of hydropower in the marketplace.

Systems Integration and Technology Acceptance

These projects are designed to reduce barriers to market penetration of new technology and to promote technology transfer. Two activities are being supported under Systems Integration and Technology Acceptance:

Supporting Engineering and Analysis

This research is geared towards analyzing new hydropower technologies and quantifying hydropower's benefits with respect to other renewable energy sources. Two activities are supported under Supporting Engineering and Analysis:

• Low-Head, Low-Power Resource Assessment
• Valuation of Hydropower
