Wind Energy Design Review and Analysis
As the program invests in the development of new technology through cost-shared contracts with industry under the large wind technology and distributed wind technology activities, it will also be providing oversight and technical support to those activities. The National Wind Technology Center staff will provide specialized expertise for design review and analysis, component testing, and field testing. This support and oversight not only assists industry, but also protects the program's investment in these partnerships and enhances their chance of success. Design review and analysis services are provided as support functions at the specific request of industry partners and are an integral part of turbine development activities.
