Local Nonprofit Receives $550,000 to Weatherize Homes

With Weatherization Assistance Program Recovery Act grant funds, Central Missouri Community Action – a nonprofit organization - will weatherize 50 eligible homes per year. As an added energy efficiency highlight, fifteen of these homes will have geothermal heating units installed.
