Energy Independence Curriculum Coming to Local Schools

The Hillside Middle School of the Salt Lake City School District was the first of 73 school buildings in Utah to have a solar panel array installed with funds from a State Energy Program Recovery Act grant and as a part of the installation program Utah students and teachers will also learn the benefits of solar energy using a comprehensive companion K-12 curriculum plan.
