Miami-Dade's methane sequestration project will increase electricity

With a power generation potential of 63,800 KW per day and creating 40 potential jobs to help the local economy, Miami-Dade County, Florida will use Energy Efficiency and Conservation Recovery Act Block grant funds to implement a Methane Sequestration Project at the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer’s South District Wastewater Treatment Plant.
