Oakland County Makes Energy Efficient Upgrades, Saves $4 Million

Employing two phases in implementing energy efficiency in Oakland County, Michigan, funds from an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Recovery Act Block Grant, first, identified in an analysis of county buildings an estimated $637,000 in annual utility bill savings and, second, grant funds will also finance the installation cost for most of the building energy improvements identified.
