The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 allotted more than $11 billion for the Weatherization and Intergovernmental Program. Funds were distributed via these projects:

Weatherization Assistance Program

HUD and DOE recently established a partnership to support coordination of the use of $16 billion in funds appropriated by Congress through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The Weatherization Assistance Program received $5 billion from the Recovery Act to expedite the weatherization of low-income homes. State Energy Program

The State Energy Program received $3.1 billion from the Recovery Act for additional grants that do not require matching state funds. More information on these grants will be available soon.
