ITS Arrives in Salem, New Hampshire Summer 2010

    A significant infrastructure technology upgrade is coming to the town of Salem, New Hampshire the summer of 2010.  The Eagle Tribune reports Salem will use Recovery Act funds from a $260,000 DOE Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant as a part of the purchase cost and installation of an intelligent transportation system, or ITS.  Salem town officials are confident the new ITS will greatly improve vehicle flow at a number of points of critical traffic gridlock.
