Weatherization Assistance Program Funding Opportunity Announcement
Weatherization Innovation Pilot Program, April 21, 2010 
The Weatherization Assistance Program is funding the new Weatherization Innovation Pilot Program to accelerate innovations in whole-house weatherization. This competitive Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is open to collaborative partnerships that can include the private sector, colleges or universities, utility companies, non-profit organizations, or existing weatherization providers.
The program is looking to fund new projects that will deliver measureable improvements in the cost, scope, and energy savings of low-income weatherization programs across the country. Applications for the FOA are due by June 2, 2010.
State Energy Program Funding Opportunity Announcement
This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to solicit the annual grant applications under the State Energy Program (SEP) for Program Year (PY) 2013. This announcement also establishes grant guidance and management information for the SEP as outlined in SEP Program Notice 13-01, Program Year 2013 State Energy Program Formula Grant Guidance. WIP does not provide financial assistance directly to individuals or companies. All grants for WIP-funded projects are managed by the DOE Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) Project Management Center.

DOE provides grants to states, local governments, Indian tribes, and overseas U.S. territories to improve energy efficiency, reduce emissions from combustion of fossil fuels, and install renewable energy systems.

DOE announces notice of EECBG formula grant application deadline
On May 24, 2010, DOE published notice in the Federal Register that applications under the Funding Opportunity Announcement (DE–FOA–0000013) for the formula grants of the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Program of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 will not be accepted after June 25, 2010. Eligible entities that have not submitted an application for a formula allocation under the program to date may submit an application to DOE by 11:59 p.m., ET, June 25, 2010. A list of eligible entities can be found here.
