St. Peters Residents Can Use Nitrogen Tire Station

An excellent opportunity for energy efficiency practice will be available to the residents of St. Peters Missouri as a result of a DOE Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant awarded with funds from the Recovery Act.
Information written in a Suburban Journals article highlighted how St. Peters city officials approved the use of this grant for a nitrogen tire re-filling station for city and resident owned vehicles. According to EPA estimates nitrogen filled tires decrease gasoline usage by 2.5 percent.
