VA One of Four States Getting Money to Retro-Fit Homes

It was recently announced by Senators Jim Webb and Mark Warner the selection of the State of Virginia to receive a State Energy Program competitive grant award to improve energy efficiency in residential homes. The competitive grant awarded as a part of the Strengthening Building Retrofit Markets project partners Virginia with Massachusetts, Alabama, and Washington with the goal to retrofit approximately 12,150 homes by 2013.
