Fire Station to be City's First Solar-Powered Facility

The 64 solar panel array to be installed on Fire Station No. 3 in Orange, California with funds from an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Recovery Act Block grant will both make the building the first city facility powered by the sun and it is projected to provide for all of the building’s operational electricity needs.
