White Tank Library Feeds Excess Solar Energy to APS

“You essentially become a mini power plant” said the county sustainability manager referring to the solar energy project, funded with an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Recovery Act Block Grant, installed on the roof of Arizona’s Maricopa County library and nature center where 228 solar panels annually generates 25% of the facility’s operational electrical power.
