Speaker Bio

Ethan MacCormick has a distinctive 28-year background as a builder, software developer and energy professional. As Vice President for Services to Energy Businesses, he delivers quality software, training and efficiency solutions to home performance contractors, weatherization and energy raters. He is a certified HERS Rater, a RESNET trainer and a BPI-certified Building Analyst, Building Envelope and Heating Professional. He is a field proctor for BPI, and orients field proctors for the group. An expert energy modeler, he contributed to the development of TREAT and is the primary trainer on the software. Ethan is a Founding Director of the Northeast HERS Alliance and sits on the RESNET Quality Assurance Committee. He is a frequent presenter at ACI and RESNET conferences. Prior to joining Performance Systems Development, he built custom homes in the Northeast, and has recently completed his own high-performance home.
