The U.S. Department of Energy Technical Assistance Program (TAP) will hold a webinar titled Partnerships with Program Administrators on Tuesday, April 23, 2–3:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.

Register to attend.

The webinar will introduce a primer just recently published by DOE on how local and state governments can partner with utilities and other administrators of ratepayer-funded energy efficiency programs.  This webinar will provide an overview of the landscape of ratepayer-funded energy efficiency programs, types of program administrators, drivers, and common program offerings. Then there will be a review the different approaches that state and local governments can take to develop partnerships with energy efficiency program administrators and present a model for getting started.

The City of San Jose, California, will be featured as a case study; attendees will learn about San Jose’s experience implementing the Silicon Valley Energy Watch program in partnership with Pacific Gas & Electric Company.
