The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) promotes Fuel cells as a significant enabling technology in relation to the hydrogen economy. Fuel cells have great potential to change the way our nation powers itself, providing cleaner, more-efficient alternatives to burning gasoline and other fossil fuels.
Internal-combustion engines could become obsolete, being replaced by fuel cells which provide power in fixed and portable power applications. Presently, fuel cells are being developed to power passenger vehicles, commercial buildings, homes, and even small devices such as laptop computers.
The best practices, project resources, and other tools shown below can help you implement fuel cells into your energy efficiency programs.
