WIP – One-On-One Assistance
The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE's) Technical Assistance Program (TAP) provides targeted, one-on-one assistance to help state, local, and tribal governments with energy programs. In-depth assistance through TAP is available for these priority areas:
- Strategic energy planning
- Energy policy and program design and implementation
- Financing solutions
- Energy data management and evaluation
- Energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies
Requests for one-on-one assistance are reviewed on an on-going basis and evaluated to determine the level of effort TAP can provide based on the following criteria:
- Near-term and long-term impacts
- Replicability for other jurisdictions
- Demonstrated need for federal technical assistance due to lack of other available resources
How to Apply for One-on-One Assistance
There are two ways for state, local, and tribal governments to apply for assistance.
