Clean Energy Manufacturing Initiative
The Clean Energy Manufacturing Initiative (CEMI) is a strategic integration that connects the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) clean energy technology investments with three decades of Advanced Manufacturing Office (AMO) process and materials manufacturing expertise to drive U.S. competitiveness.
CEMI also supports the new American Energy & Manufacturing Competitiveness (AEMC) Partnership between EERE and the Council on Competitiveness which will bring together top minds and leaders, generate new insight into energy and manufacturing challenges, and devise real solutions to prioritize and solve these challenges.
The AEMC Partnership is hosting a series of regional and national summits to gather input on manufacturing priorities, identify barriers and opportunities for growing clean energy manufacturing competitiveness, and showcase national and regional models that address these priorities.
