New Software Tools Released to Help Identify Energy Savings Opportunities

January 14, 2009

ITP invites you to test, and provide feedback on, the Integrated Tool Suite. Like Quick PEP, ITP’s Web-based tool, the Integrated Tool Suite helps plants find the best opportunities for energy use reductions in major systems. Unlike Quick PEP, the new suite can be downloaded as a stand alone tool to your computer desktop allowing you to input data and retrieve results without an Internet connection. The Integrated Tool Suite includes all the features of Quick PEP, including an Energy Intensity Spreadsheet and CO2 Footprint Calculator.

Download the Integrated Tool Suite beta version (select ITP Suite Setup v1.1.2.zip) and provide your comments by January 31, 2009.

Additionally, DOE has released the AIRMaster+ LogTool Version 2.0, a companion to the AIRMaster+ software tool for analyzing compressed air systems. First, use the LogTool to gather data. Then use that data in AIRMaster+ to model existing and future compressed air system upgrades.
