June 3, 1999Oakland, California, will be the site of the next OIT-sponsored Financing Technology Workshop. Financiers, manufacturers, and technology providers will gather on June 28, 1999, at the Airport Hilton Oakland to share their strategies for financing and implementing energy efficient technologies and processes.
This workshop, one in a series of OIT-sponsored regional financing workshops, is for California manufacturers interested in learning how to finance technologies and how to reap the benefits of energy efficiency. Luncheon speaker Bob Moore, plant manager of Oberti Olives, will discuss how his company financed and implemented a filtration system which saved $32 million in environmental compliance costs. The workshop will also include an exhibit hall with software demonstrations and local exhibitors. Six small afternoon question & answer sessions will address individual questions. Workshop participants will receive a compendium of resources showcasing the various programs manufacturers can take advantage of for more assistance in technical and financial endeavors.
