System Sustainability (SS) Credit 1.2: Awards or incentive program for energy (4 possible points)
SS Credit 1.2 – To receive the points for this credit your organization must implement an energy awards or incentive program. An organization’s energy awards or incentive program can be quite effective in encouraging active employee participation and involvement. Many times simple employee behavior change can lead to significant energy savings. Typically these types of programs recognize and reward employees’ accomplishments in achieving effective energy management or energy performance improvements.
