SEP certification is built upon the successful implementation of the ISO 50001 energy management system (eGuide Level 2). The eGuide Level 3 steps listed in this section outline the additional requirements and provide guidance for SEP certification above and beyond what is required for these steps in Level 2. Where appropriate, the related SEP Scorecard points are also reviewed. Some of the steps required for Level 2 have no additional requirements in Level 3 for SEP.
